Marina Kasavin, M.D., Ph.D.

 Hi, I'm Dr. Marina Kasavin.

I am a general neurologist in private practice in San Francisco since 1987. I also serve as an Associate Clinical Professor of Neurology at UCSF.

I see patients with all kinds of neurological problems. My special interest areas include Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, dementia, migraines and other  headaches, geriatric neurology, dizziness and vertigo, and integrative medicine.
My care philosophy is to always provide the best care to my patients. I have been very passionate about my work because of the unique opportunity it provides in helping people. I make time to get to know my patients and their problems. I believe that asking good questions and listening attentively are critical to arriving at a correct diagnosis.
I personally follow-up with my patients and quickly return phone calls. My assistant Lolita is friendly, efficient and eager to help. She always goes the extra mile to help our patients with scheduling tests at outside facilities before the appointment is over.
I am affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center, St. Mary’s Medical Center and UCSF Medical Center.

My office is located across the street from UCSF Mount Zion Hospital at 2299 Post Street. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or need our help.
